today i solved a really silly error of mine when doing the caps 6 U1 update.
i tried the following when doing the CAPS netbeans update:
C:\CAPS_patches\ESR6788313\caps-patch\caps-patch\util\bin>caps-patch-install.bat -verbose -patch 6744143-01-DT
-NB.zip
and got the following error
05.01.2009 14:34:59 com.sun.soabi.caps.patch.installer.PatchAdd main
SCHWERWIEGEND: Patch Installation Failed :The PatchDB doesnot support environment DT-NB
my problem was that you HAVE TO do it in "JavaCAPS6-install-dir/caps-patch/util/bin" otherwise all attempts will fail to update.

why is an ESB tool like JCAPS 6 unable to use Javadoc ?
hi *,
i just wanted to know if anyone out there understands why sometimes the most expensive tools (i like JCAPS really a lot) sometimes have to have such HUGE shortcomings?
as i understand it right now JAVA Caps Version 6 and lower do not support Javadoc of e.g. external libraries? can this be true?
in a world of java where javadoc has always been a good companion for us why omit this festure? it is really really important to some of us out there...
ill log a feature request now ;-) ...
regards chris
